abuelos / grandparents

Uno de los muchos viajes de este verano por la AP36, llendo o volviendo de ver a los pequeñajos, que disfrutaban de un verano mucho más largo que el nuestro con los abuelos. Creo que nunca valoramos lo suficiente la labor y ayuda de los abuelos, al menos hasta que nos damos cuenta de que, sin ellos, nuestra vida sería mucho más difícil, complicada y estresante. Siempre están allí cuando les necesitamos. Marta iba conduciendo y yo decidí aprovechar las vistas que esta autopista nos ofrece. La foto está tomada desde el coche, a 120 Km/h (por supuesto, nosotros nunca sobrepasamos el límite, ¡eh!) Me gustó, sobre todo porque me recuerda lo pequeños que somos comparados con nuestros padres, y lo lejos que estamos de llegar a ser como ellos. De verdad, cuando sea mayor, me gustaría ser como mi padre. Podría decir también que quiero ser como mi madre, ¡¡¡pero creo que no me quedaría bien su ropa!!! De momento, seguiré como el arbolito pequeño del fondo, viendo desde el borde al árbol grande que él solo es capaz de llenar la escena.

One of a lot of journeys of this summer, before or after visiting the kids, who enjoyed a summer much longer than ours with the grandpa's. I think we never praise enough the help of the grandpas, at least until we realize that, without them, life would be much mor difficult, complicated and stressing. They're always there when we need them. Marta was driving and I decided to take my chance with the views the highway offers. The picture was shot from the car, at 120 Km/h (of course, we never break the limit, ¡ha!) I liked it, especially because it reminds me how small we are when compared to our parents, and how far we are of being like they are. Truly, when I grow up I want to be like my dad. I could say as well I'd like to be like my mum, however I don't think her clothes would fit me!!! For the moment, I'll be like the small tree at the background, watching from the edge how the big tree is able to fill the stage itself.
